Summer Adventure Programs for children 4-9 years old!
This year’s camp will consist of a small group of 5-9 year old children led by an experienced, nurturing and passionate teacher for a 7 week camp. The relationship continuity will help children to enjoy and get into projects and playful activities more. Research and experience have shown that children develop and grow best when they are relaxed and feel they belong.
Children 4 years old and younger can join our ongoing licensed preschool and kindergarten program (please see the Preschool and Kindergarten pages for program details).
Our program gives children a meaningful, integrated, real-world learning environment. Through play and exploration of the forests and trails of the 600 acre Ignatius Jesuit Centre, children gain a connection and understanding of the natural world and their place in it. The creative process of learning continues inside our beautiful, fully-equipped indoor classrooms and facilities, bringing the outside in.
Favorite summer activities include working in our organic vegetable garden, riding bicycles, water play, insect and frog catching, mud play, nature collections, fort building, hiking, cooking activities, working with hand tools, arts and crafts, pretend play, group games and sports, camp fires, and so much more!

Our food:
A delicious three-course lunch and two snacks are freshly prepared from scratch by our Red Seal Chef, Andrea Cardiff in our kitchen. We use primarily organic, seasonal and local ingredients. Our food program introduces children to seasonal vegetables through tasting games, cooking and gardening, helping them learn to love healthy foods.

To reserve your child’s spot at camp, please complete the camp enrolment package and send or drop it off together with a cheque or money order for the complete amount. Alternatively, you may email the completed registration form to info@guelphoutdoorpreschool.com and pay via an online transfer.
