Program Overview

Our Kindergarten programs give children a meaningful, integrated, real-world learning environment. Our play-based, emergent curriculum is recommended by the Ministry of Education, and is designed to give your kindergarten child a solid foundation to their educational career.

The program prepares children for success in elementary school by enabling them to develop attention and focus, the ability to delay gratification and function cooperatively in a group.  Our developmentally sound curriculum fosters a love for learning and school, the drive to seek truth and knowledge, and confidence in children as active participants in their learning.

Our Kindergarten programming offers children the opportunity to gain social and emotional confidence, explore math and science in context, gain experiences in early literacy, music, art, dramatic play, cooking and much more.

The natural areas of the 600 acre Ignatius Jesuit Centre allow children the opportunity to explore, discover, create and understand the natural world and their place within it.  The creative process of learning continues inside our fully-equipped indoor classrooms and facilities, bringing the outside in.

Parents can choose to send their children part-time, in addition to a public or private school JK/SK program, or full-time, as an alternative to public or private school.
